After living in Fort Worth for 20+ years, I have never truly gotten a taste of it until this past week when I got the opportunity to follow a HS Senior for a full day while she prepared and competed in the Fort Worth Stock Show! She not only taught me about the stock show but I got to learn many things about her craft- Reigning Horses. It was amazing to be so up close and personal through it all- to see the intensity, anxiety, and pure competitiveness of the sport- and to have a little fun too. I will be going every year now – to more than just the rodeo that is. Allison did amazing the entire day and she competed in three events and schooled her backup horse in a fourth event. She won awards in all three and I just found out she just won the Youth competition in Waco, Texas today! We got some great pictures that capture the day and her spirit and drive! Congratulations Allison and cannot wait to finish the rest of your Senior Photo Session at the farm!
