Sunflower 18*

There never seems to be enough sunflowers! They make perfect settings for pictures!  I love that moments before the sun rises they are face down sleeping but once the sun climbs over the horizon they wake and turn towards the warm orange light.  What a daily miracle!

We took an off beaten path to find this little patch of wild sunflowers and grabbed a few shots while the flowers woke to the morning sun!  Kali is not only beautiful but she makes looking this good at 530 in the morning unbelivable!   I’m busy sweating off my body weight in liquid and she’s looking cool and calm!  I really hate asking our HS seniors to wake up this early but with this TEXAS summer heat wave its absolute torture getting photographed uncomfortable!  So for the time being, early morning is a must!

Yet heat aside, we had an amazing photo shoot with several locations and little distraction because of the wee hours of the morning.  Kali did great and it shows in all her photos.  I love the shot with her sitting on the front porch!  It really shows the power of the crop!   One is a wide angle, one is a pano, and one is a tighter vertical shot.  If you notice, all three are the same image with just a different crop and a different edit!  Amazing what a little turn and a zoom can do!

Well I will stop with the logistics and let the pictures speak for themselves.  Kali is stunning and once again I love them all!  My favorite is the panoramic—  third from the top!  Check it out!
