It has taken me a week to get caught up after an amazing event we attended and photographed last weekend. The featured guest was none other than the former President of the United States, George W. Bush!
Amazing!
He was remarkable, friendly, humble, and funny!
I wish the country could see him as we did.
The evening was timeless and he was Presidential and kind.
We photographed him with special guests and he was the life of the party!
He not only posed the guests, he never blinked or looked array in any picture that we took!
A true gentleman and statesmen to say the least.
We were honored to photograph the former President and only wish we could show the photos that we took with special guest whom attended the Gala.
Until then however, I wanted to post some cool shots of the President as he was greeted and applauded to and from the stage!

I wanted to post a few pics from a recent newborn shoot! Went with a vintage look and I think they came out great! Cute lil baby girl!! She was such a great lil one to work with too! She slept the majority of the time which made it easier to get the harder posed shots! Thanks Mom and Dad for letting me raid your house with all my lights and gear! It was worth it I think!

Again it has been awhile since I blogged about a shoot because we are busy as busy does! I love the red and grunge in this picture! What you do not see in the picture is how COLD it was outside! The wind made it 30 degrees out! Yet these three and mom and dad were more than willing to get the cool shots…. but kinda make it snappy too… We all wanted the heater!

Today, my friend told me I should post a picture of Emma to our blog. I have so many it was hard to pick, so more will be coming. BUT for now, here is a picture from Emma’s first baby shoot (taken by yours truly). She was born on December 21, 2009 at 9:49 a.m. She will get tired of the camera before long so I thought I better get a head start. This picture was taken on Jan 1, 2010 and as you can tell she was wide awake! More to come….

So even my partner and my brother need pictures taken for Christmas! His kids are the BEST and I was excited to take pictures for their Christmas card! My sister-in-law set the whole thing up because she knew her kids would not take pictures for their Dad 
Brooke, the oldest, is so beautiful, but she does not know it yet. Jordynn, the youngest, on the other hand knows she is beautiful, and really plays for the camera! They are different from the next, and yet both the same! I love these two and cannot wait to make the railroad picture a canvas for the studio! Stunning!

So with the holiday rush its been awhile since my last post! I know, I am not the best blogger but I am trying to catch up! This is one of my favorite photos from a family shoot I took just before Christmas! These two kids are amazing and so photogenic! I had such a great time hanging out with them and their parents! And J, when you get old enough, I need a light assistant so give me a call!!
Ahh the sweet game of golf! Who can get enough? Zach, has a full outlook on his academic and sports career! His golf game is well beyond the average par! This set up is to good to be true! I love these shots of him swinging into Never never land!
